TOILET KAMAR UTAMA (main bedroom toilet)

Inilah ruangan yang paling saya favoritkan. Ruang paling private dan pasti berfungsi setiap hari. Minimal 2 kali dalam sehari, saya pasti memanfaatkan toilet yang terletak menyatu dengan kamar utama. Apalagi kebiasaan saya sejak masih kecil, toilet adalah salah satu tempat yang sering sekali menghadirkan ide cemerlang.

Karena itu, saya sangat serius mempersiapkan material toilet kamar utama ini. begitu banyaknya referensi yang saya buka, sampai beberapa kali ganti rencana untuk jenis material yang digunakan.

Kebimbangan paling dirasakan saat ingin membeli produk sanitry. Tadinya hampir sekali mengambil produk Grohe atau Hans Grohe. Maklum, produk sanitary buatan Jerman yang terletak di Jakarta Desain Center dan Panglima Polim ini silih berganti menawarkan harga diskon yang cukup menggiurkan. Sekadar informasi, Grohe dan Hans Grohe ini dulunya adalah perusahaan sanitary dari keluarga yang sama, GROHE. Namun konon ada perpecahan keluarga, sehingga kini mereka menjadi dua perusahaan berbeda dan bersaing ketat. Persaingan itu berimbas hingga ke Jakarta.

Paket yang ditawarkan meliputi keran air, westafel, kloset, bidet, shower dan perlengkapan sanitary lainnya. Harga berkisar 4 hingga 6 juta rupiah. itu setelah diskon sekitar 40%. Masih sedikit lebih mahal dibanding harga normal produk TOTO atau American Standard (AMSTAD).

Namun seorang rekan mengingatkan soal kelengkapan onderdil. "Bila sampai ada yang rusak atau ganti, apakah komponen Grohe dan Hans Grohe tersedia di pasar Indonesia?"

Saya pun akhirnya ke brand paling aman, TOTO. Membeli di Mitra 10, supemarket bangunan atau toko material, pastinya rata-rata berharga normal alias price list. Saya pun menuju kawasan Rawasari dan Kenari Mas di Jakarta Pusat. Ternyata bila pandai bernegosiasi, salesman bisa memberi diskon antara 30 hingga 33%. Tanpa pikir panjang lagi, satu set produk TOTO kini diboyong ke toilet kamar utama.

Untuk pintu, menggunakan kayu jati dari Jawa Timur. Hanya di bagian tengahnya dari kaca dengan model es, supaya tidak tembus pandang. Semua kelengkapan pintui (handle, kunci, engsel, door stop) menggunakan produk RAFES from England. Penggantu handuk susun dua, juga dari produk RAFES.

Material kayu jati juga digunakan untuk jendela. Satu desain krapyak, satunya lagi dari bahan kaca. Sebagai pengaman, dipasang teralis besi solid. Persis dengan desain teralis pada ruangan lainnya. Dan untuk mencegah nyamuk, dipasang kasa bermagnet.

Bagaimana dengan dinding? Seluruh dinding empat sisi, di bagian 2/3 paling atas menggunakan marmer Italia EMPIRE yang seukuran triplex. Marmer Empire ini juga digunakan di lantai dasar (Ground Floor) Pacific Place SCBD dan Pondok Indah Mall 2. Karena berbentuk triplex, dan request dengan potongan paling minimal, pemasangan marmer Empire juga terbilang rumit. Apalagi harus ditambahkan meja dari bahan Empire untuk westafel. Puas karena memang sangat minim potongan, kecuali tentu pada titik persambungan dan sudut yang tidak begitu terlihat.

Lalu apa yang mengisi sisa 1/3 bagian terbawah? Dengan budget terbatas, saya kemudian memanfaatkan sisa marmer Verde Patricia yang konon diimpor dari Pakistan. Dengan alasan, dinding bagian bawah inilah yang paling sering terkena air dan rawan lembab. Dan Verde Patricia yang berwarna hijau tua ini adalah salah satu marmer yang paling kuat dan tahan terhadap perubahan akibat zat lain atau cuaca. Ingat, verde patricia ini adalah sisa dari penggunaan di toilet kamar atas. Efisien dan smart.

Sebagai pemanis, antara EMPIRE dan VERDE PATRICIA dihubungkan oleh lis setebal 12 cm. Ini dari marmer RAIN FOREST GOLD dengan serat yang kasar. Ingat! ini juga sisa dari anak tangga utama. Setelah dihitung, lis rainforest gold 12 cm ini masih ada tersisa sepanjang hampir 10 meter lari. Cocok dengan luas toilet empat bidang dinding.

Untuk lantai, terbagi dua bagian. Bagian kering, menggunakan Marmer jenis Empire yang sama dengan dinding atas. Warnanya lebih cenderung ke cream, dengan aksen sedikit hijau, dengan ulir nuansa alam. Lalu bagian lantai basah, yang selalu terkena air saat mandi dari shower, adalah marmer rain forest gold dengan permukaan yang timbul. Seperti urat-urat kayu yang bisa diraba dan konturnya kuat terasakan. Marmer rain forest ini adalah sama dengan ujung anak tangga di ruang utama dan lis dinding toilet utama ini. Semoga match antara dinding dan lantai.

Di bagian plafon, dipasang lampu Philips dan exhaust fan KDK yang sangat klasik. Kini saya pun semakin menikmati toilet untuk menggali ide segar dan gagasan kreatif. MAIN BEDROOM TOILET
